Why is education important in life?

Education is important in life because it gives people the skills and tools they need to navigate the world. Without education, people would not be able to read, write, calculate or communicate; they would also not be able to perform jobs competently, accurately and safely. Education also teaches people about the world in which they live, including information about history, philosophy and culture.

Others believe education is important because it helps to answer life's big questions, including questions of how to live, work and love. Still others believe that education is important because it teaches people about the world around them.

The Importance of Information Technology in Education

The world of education is changing as the modern world continues to grow. With so much progress happening, it’s important that education be able to reach students in new ways so that their students are prepared for the future. The students of today are the leaders, inventors, teachers, and businessmen (and women) of tomorrow. Without the proper skills, these students will not have the preparation needed to survive. With so much focus placed on education, it can sometimes be difficult to hold a job and still get the training needed to get a better job. Information technology plays a key role in students being able to keep their jobs and go to school. Now, most schools offer online classes that can be accessed on computers or laptops, tablets, and even mobile phones. A busy student at work can easily check in or submit assignments while on their lunch break.

   Introduction of Information Technology

Technology has been define as "Systematic Knowledge and action, usally of industrial processes but applicable to any recurrent activity." In providing tools and techniquies for action, technology at once adds to and drows from a knowledge base in which theory and practice interact and compact. At its most general level, technology may be regarded as definable specifiable way of doing anything.
Technology,Manferd Kochen observed, impact in three stages. First,it enables us to do what we are now doing, but better, faster and cheaper; second, it enables us to do what we cannot do now; and third, it changes our life styles.
1:-   Information technology is a recent and comprehensive term, which describes the whole range of processes for generation transmission, retrival and processing of information.
2:-   The term Information Technology(IT)has different interpretations. For example,Macmillan Dictionary of Information Technology defines Information Technology as "the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictriol, textual and numerical information by a micro-electronics based combination of computing and telecommunication."
3:-   On the other hand, UNESCO defines IT as"scientific, technological and engineering disciplines and the management techniques used in information handling and processing information; their application; computers and their interaction with man and associated social, economic and cultural matters."From the second definition, IT is seen as involving the formulating, recording and processing and not just transmitting of information. These are element in the communication tend to be intertwisted. It not only covers the textual(i.e. cognitive, propositional and verbalised forme, which we normally associate with information) but also numerical, visul and auditory representations.

Computer Technology

Computer Technology may convenietly be grouped into processer technology ,storage technology and software aspects.

Processor technology

Computer consist of electronic components assembled in adesign or "architecture" that will perform necessary functions of input, output, computation and control (control of both the computer itself and of atteched peripheral devices that perform input and output function and store the files.)     IN the past, electronic components were expencive, so a minimum number were used in a single processor that alternately performs input ,control , processing and output. Besides, the first generation of computer, operated by means of vacuume tube or svalves, were relatively bulky and energy consuming. Thefirst major innovation, leading to microelectronics was the discovery of transister, a product of solid state physics, which used semiconductor materials. The most important development of these today is based on non-matallc element 'silicon'. Being much smaller then the vacuum tubes, the transistor quikly replaced it in all electrinc equipment. However, transistor and other equipment had to be wired together and a single pices of equipment might havethoudands of such components. The wiring og assembly of such elements was a delicate and costly process. This nuturally paved the way for research towards the

history of computer.

History of Computer The ENIAC was invented by J. Presper Eckert and John Mauchly at the University of Pennsylvania and began construction in 1943 and was not completed until 1946. It occupied about 1,800 square feet and used about 18,000 vacuum tubes, weighing almost 50 tons. When was the first computer invented? There is no easy answer to this question due to the many different classifications of computers. The first mechanical computer, created by Charles Babbage in 1822, doesn't really resemble what most would consider a computer today. Therefore, this document has been created with a listing of each of the computer firsts, starting with the Difference Engine and leading up to the computers we use today. NOTE: Early inventions which helped lead up to the computer, such as the abacus, calculator, and tablet machines, are not accounted for in this document. What is Python ?

What is python What is Python: - Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Python was developed by Guido Van Rossum in the late eighties and early nineties at the National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science in the Netherlands. Features of Python:- Less line of codes than other languages (fast execution) Platform independent Open Source Object Oriented It supports functional and structured programming methods It can be used as a scripting language or can be compiled to byte-code for building large applications It provides very high-level dynamic data types and supports dynamic type checking It supports automatic garbage collection It can be easily integrated with C, C++, COM, ActiveX, CORBA, and Java How to start the Python? First of all install the Python 2.7.12 on your system. After installation it will create a directory in C: drive named Python27. In Python27

Classification of computer based on their cost size and confriguration.

<B><U> TYPES OF COMPUTER</B><U> Computer and it's Type Computers are classified by the type of data they are desinged to process. Data may be obtained either as a result of countig of through the use of same measuring instrument. Data that are obtained by counting are called discreate data are total numbers of students in a classroom. Data that must be obtained throgh measurement are called continous data. For example, continious data are the speeds an automobile measure by speedmotor or the tempreature of a patient as masured by a thermometer.
